With a fascination and passion for the entertainment industry plus experience living in the US for 3 years with his family as a teenager, Ben likes to think he brings a worldly view to the table but hey, who is he kidding. |

A huge supporter of the local film and arts industry, and has a genuine passion for it, being at several times, in front, behind and next to the camera too. | Will Conway has had an undeniable love for film ever since his directorial debut at the age of 12 bringing the classic Steinbeck novel ‘The Pearl’ to the year seven class room. Will has worked for a number of years within the industry in roles as varied as cinema usher to regional marketing and back, currently in a position within the GU film department. Will loves all things ‘not cool’ including spending way too much time on the Xbox, comic book films and any form of Star Wars merchandise. |

Brandon Walters will never forget the day he went for a swim at the public pool near his home in Broome, Western Australia. There, he was spotted by a casting director for Baz Luhrmann's Australia, which led to his first-ever trip to Sydney, where Luhrmann did workshops with Brandon and nine other hopefuls. Despite his lack of acting experience, Brandon won the role of Nullah, an indigenous boy who is adopted by Nicole Kidman's English aristocrat, Lady Sarah Ashley. Nullah joins Lady Ashley and The Drover (Hugh Jackman) as they drive 1,500 head of cattle across the Outback. Then Nullah becomes one of the Stolen Generation, captured by government officials who send him to Mission Island to live with other banished half-caste children. "I was immediately struck by Brandon’s natural talent and charisma,” says Luhrmann. “He and Nullah share a similar spirit.” To prepare for the part, Brandon, who's 13, had dialect coaching and singing lessons, and mastered horse riding and driving cattle. He says he's wanted to be an actor ever since he was a kid, and hopes Australia will lead to roles in other movies. And, like Nullah, Brandon is a survivor: he battled leukemia when he was six years old.  |
