| Claire Gandy has absolutely nothing except a love for film that qualifies her to write anything worth reading, and that she is unbelievably honest and will give anything a chance. A huge supporter of the local film and arts industry, and has a genuine passion for it, being at several times, in front, behind and next to the camera too. She likes Pina Colada’s and long walks in the rain. We can’t back that up. |

Edge Of Darkness, starring Mel Gibson, debuted in second spot with a disappointing $17.1 million while romantic comedy When In Rome starring Kristen Bell landed in third spot with $12.1 million. The Tooth Fairy didn't face much competition from other kid flicks and took $10 million while The Book Of Eli featuring Denzel Washington rounded out the top five with $8.8 million. Does anyone know when Avatar will slip from top spot and more importantly - how much is the film actually going to end up taking. What we do know is Mr Cameron is one rich man. |
