Ben
Ben-Rutherford has previously worked at 2 of the big 4 record companies in the music industry and has now landed on his feet in Movie-land, working in the marketing department at Greater Union. With a fascination and passion for the entertainment industry plus experience living in the US for 3 years with his family as a teenager, Ben likes to think he brings a worldly view to the table but hey, who is he kidding.

Claire
Claire Gandy has absolutely nothing except a love for film that qualifies her to write anything worth reading, and that she is unbelievably honest and will give anything a chance. A huge supporter of the local film and arts industry, and has a genuine passion for it, being at several times, in front, behind and next to the camera too. She likes Pina Colada’s and long walks in the rain. We can’t back that up.

Will
Will Conway has had an undeniable love for film ever since his directorial debut at the age of 12 bringing the classic Steinbeck novel ‘The Pearl’ to the year seven class room. Will has worked for a number of years within the industry in roles as varied as cinema usher to regional marketing and back, currently in a position within the GU film department. Will loves all things ‘not cool’ including spending way too much time on the Xbox, comic book films and any form of Star Wars merchandise.

Twilight makes an instant star of Michael Welch

Twilight makes an instant star of Michael Welch As one of the stars of the vampire love story Twilight, Michael Welch quickly discovered there's a rabid fan base for the books by Stephenie Meyer.

One thing he learned: Don't describe Twilight as the "Hannah Montana of vampire books," as he did on one blog. He meant it as a compliment, and while fans didn't mind the reference to Hannah, they objected to any comparison to High School Musical.

The novels are so popular, at one point this year, eight of the world's top 10 actors ranked by IMDB.com's Starmeter were cast members from the Twliight movie. Welch ranked as high as No. 6, but has since dropped to No. 13. Not bad recognition for a film which doesn't open in the US until December, and January here.

Welch, 20, plays Mike Newton, a nerdy basketballer who's obsessed with Phoenix High School classmate Bella Swan (Kirsten Stewart). Bella in turn is attracted to hunky Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), who turns out to be a vampire.

"I actually think the Twilighters are very similar to StarGate fans, just a very fun group of people," says Welch, whose credits include StarGate, Joan of Arcadia, The X-Files and Star Trek: Insurrection.

"They're very serious about these characters and about this story but still understand that it's a story, and you're supposed to have fun with it," he tells MTV.

"If I'm a part of something that makes me in-ish right now, that's great, man. Keep it coming."
