Last night saw the Australian premiere of Michael Jackson's - This Is It, following hot on the heels of premieres all over the world for the man many have described as the greatest musical performer of all time. Having worked at two of the world's biggest record labels and seeing some amazing musical artists, I can clearly tell you, no one comes close to Michael Jackson. 2004’s Shaun of the Dead has garnered such a cult following, that since it’s release, I’ve felt no film has come even close to the fine balance of horror and comedy. Case in point, this years Lesbian Vampire killers tried desperately to match the wit and charm of the afore mentioned classic, instead failed miserably at both. Zombieland is the next in this seemingly endless line of films to tread the rocky surface of this genre, and it does it in style! Zombieland focuses on Columbus (... Find out more... | 1 Comments |

Angelina Jolie in Gucci? It's most men's dream and I'm sure there are plenty of ladies worldwide who would be keen to see the Hollywood mega-star in another drop dead gorgeous dress from one of the world's top designer brands. According to Variety, Jolie is in talks to star in director Ridley Scott's Gucci - which would chronicle the glamourous story of the Gucci family in the 1970 and 80s. Leonardo DeCaprio has reportedly been approached to co-star but has not signed on as... Find out more... | 0 Comments |

I’ve always been a big fan of Ricky Gervais, even though for the most part I don’t take too kindly to British humour. Something about the way he does the awkward ‘David Brent’ that just keeps me laughing and cringing at the same time. His latest film is THE INVENTION OF LYING and was both penned and directed by him, along with Matthew Robinson. The basic premise of LYING is simply, it’s set in an alternate world that looks and smells very similar to our own, but with one major differe... Find out more... | 0 Comments |

Moore is well known for his ambush tactics and his ‘in you face’ approach to documentaries. I sat down to a screening of a little unknown film called Paranormal Activity way back in June this year.
