The worldwide phenomenon that is New Moon has continued its popularity with the film maintaining its grip on top spot at the Aussie box office with an estimated $6 million generated to push the overall figure to a crazy $26.25 million in less than two weeks. 2012 took $2.23 million and in the process moved the overall gross to an impressive $15.3 million. Thanksgiving weekend at the U.S box office saw records fall as fans flocked in droves to see a host of new flicks but the winner was still New Moon. The vampire flick took $42.5 million to push the film's gross to an astonishing $230.7 million, making it the sixth biggest blockbuster of 2009 according to boxofficeguru.com. The Twilight Saga: New Moon has well and truly shattered records at the U.S box office according to boxofficeguru.com. Scrounging the net this morning I discovered a couple of new trailers that are both pretty cool. The first is for a film I've been pretty amped for since I first heard about the project last year. CLASH OF THE TITANS is a remake of the classic 60's epic about the battle between Zeus and mankind. Michael Jackson's This Is It has maintained it's grip on the top spot at the Aussie box office following a $1.869 million haul over the weekend, pushing the film's overall total to $7.3 million.
