Originally published in 1963 and only 10 sentences long, children of all ages have grown up with Maurice Sendak's classic children's story; 'Where the Wild things are'. The film has now taken over $15 million at the Aussie box office and is the third biggest grossing film behind Twilight ($21.2 million) and Australia ($37 million). I find it amazing that there are still a lot of people who have yet to see the... Find out more... | 0 Comments |

Just in case you didn’t know….New Moon is coming soon, okay soon-ish, and while we get to see it before the US, we are beat out by one day in France and Belgium, but you know what who cares?! I am a huge fan of Jacob in the books, but I am still having trouble accepting Taylor Lautner as Jacob for New Moon. And to add to my woes, apparently Robert Pattinson only has 2 scenes in the new Moon film. Sheesh. I know, I know, I’ve read the damn book, so I knew Edward was going to absent for the m... Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman, Coraline and the Secret Door is a delightful stop animation film, available in 2D and wonderful 3D. Stop animation is by far my favourite style of animation, and even if you can’t get to a cinema that has 3D I don’t think you’ll miss the richness and the beauty of this film. The film is about a young girl, Coraline who moves to a new home with her parents who write books about gardening. While it would seem they pay her no attention, she finds a door in th... Another trailer has emerged for the Summer blockbuster TERMINATOR SALVATION. It shows the year 2018 in which the war is in full swing between skynet’s cyborg army and the remains of humanity. What is also revealed is that Aussie actor Sam Worthington’s character Marcus Wright is perhaps not as human as once thought. Early footage showed him emerging from a muddy bog completely naked ala Arnies introduction in the first two films, however, the new trailer goes one step further and we can clearly ...Find out more... | 0 Comments |

The Pink Panther franchise is one of the more endearing in the annals of Hollywood. First on screen in 1963 with the release of a self titled debut film, it has since been followed up with no less than 8 sequels plus the Steve Martin reboot of 2006. The role of the bumbling French Inspector Clouseau was made famous by the British actor and comedian Peter Sellers, however Steve Martin successfully gave a new generation of fans a fresh face to the role, albeit, played in a very similar manner to S...Find out more... | 0 Comments |

Sydney played host to stars Sam Neill and Brian Brown for the premiere of Dean Spanley recently, with the film also featuring Peter O'Toole and Jeremy Northam. " The official synopsis for the film is below which I thought may help explain the film a tad better than I could: ... Find out more... | 0 Comments |
