New Transformers 2 trailer……kind of……

New Transformers 2 trailer……kind of…… Well, as we all wait patiently for the new Transformers 2 trailer to land, which by all accounts should be online by now, I have a located a version of the trailer to share with you all, but you’ll have to excuse the quality.

For those that caught my showest footage it looks like they’ve included the weeping Bumblebee, but added some uber cool looking Devastator action and some nice Megan Fox footage also! Focuses on Sam’s journey a bit more, but all in all I think it looks HOT!

Star Trek finds a new generation
0 Comments | Posted on Thursday, 30 April 2009 by Ben

Star Trek finds a new generation I've seen Star Trek and have to admit up front I've never been a fan of anything Trekkie. But after seeing the J.J Abrams directed Star Trek starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and our very own Eric Bana to name a few, I thought the film is a winner.

Abrams has cleverly included sarcasm and comedy throughout the film to help break up the 'technical' nuts and bolts required to explain the U.S.S Enterprise.

Check out the footage we've got our hands on below - interviews with...

NEW MOON New Eclipse Director Edward being scary
0 Comments | Posted on Thursday, 30 April 2009 by Claire

NEW MOON New Eclipse Director Edward being scary It would seem that although I was (hopefully) sure that Eclipse the third instalment in the Twilight Saga was likely to be directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, who is a Spanish director, most famed for directing The Orphanage. I thought he’d be so right to direct the third film, and maybe bring a little more darkness to it…however David Slade has now been announced as the man who will be taking on Eclipse. Most notably he directed Hard Candy (which I didn’t like at all) and last directed 30 Days of ...

DANIEL CRAIG IS DEFIANCE
0 Comments | Posted on Wednesday, 29 April 2009 by Claire

DANIEL CRAIG IS DEFIANCE Is it at all possible for Daniel Craig, now, to step out of the James Bond box and do something else? Prior to Bond, he had a quite an unusual slate o films, some really good ones too, Munich anyone? Even Elizabeth. His latest title Defiance is no blockbuster, it is however bloody good.
It is set after the Nazi invasion of Poland in 1939 and is based on the true story of the Bielski Brothers, who after losing their parents, killed by the Germans, take flight into the woods. They live, not ...

Was Wolvy Worth the Wait?
0 Comments | Posted on Wednesday, 29 April 2009 by Will

Was Wolvy Worth the Wait? With X-Men Origins: Wolverine opening around the nation today, and after some truly spectacular cinebuzz pre-release screenings last night, I thought I’d throw in my two cents on the film.

Firstly, I am a huge fan of the first film. Bryan Singer was arguably at his peak when this was made and after introducing the world to Kevin Spacey in The Usual Suspects, he gave us Hugh Jackman in his break out role as Wolverine. The first film went on to do $10 million at the Aus B.O., not a bad ...

Transformers 2 Showest footage
0 Comments | Posted on Tuesday, 28 April 2009 by Will

Transformers 2 Showest footage For all of those that have been watching the net closely, you probably would have discovered that there was some footage revealed for Transformers 2 at the Showest conference, for cinema exhibitors, in Las Vegas earlier this month. Michael Bay accepted an award and as a treat for the audience brought with him a little clip to whet the appetite before the June blockbuster. He then went one step further and uploaded it to his website for apparently a 12 hour window, where those quick enough were a...

Jonas Bros mania Kevin, Joe and Nick - the three Jonas brothers that seem to have taken over the music world. Following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana), these Disney stars have sold ridiculous amounts of records and sold out stadiums across the U.S.

Now comes Jonas Bros 3D, filmed during the Brothers' red-hot "Burning Up" concert tour, which includes guest performances from Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.

Put a shirt on? My girlfriend is a huge fan of those weekly mags with all the latest celebrity news and gossip and occasionally I'll have a flick through but there seems to be one constant, every single time - Matthew McConaughey with his shirt off.

Now there's no doubt the bloke's got a great body but does he need to have a shirt off ALL the time? I don't mind him as an actor but does anyone think the same way.

McConaughey is back on the circuit for his latest offering alongside Jennifer ...

ANGELS AND DEMONS=ANTI CATHOLICISM So, we have advance ticket sales for Angels and Demons….and like The Da Vinci Code, it’s getting loads of attention due to the anti religious content or more pointedly anti catholic? Well, according to a New York report, Bill Donahue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, accused director Ron Howard and "Angels & Demons" author Dan Brown of "smearing the Catholic Church with fabulously bogus tales".
Hmm, it is a work of fiction is it not? Plus in Angels and Demons...

Film Vs. Video Games: Round 1!
0 Comments | Posted on Thursday, 23 April 2009 by Will

As we eagerly count down to WOLVERINE hitting our screens on April 29th, I began to wonder about the fragile relationship that exists between the film and video game industry. This perpetual battle between light and dark has had casualties on both sides. For film, they have tried and failed to make films out of Super Mario Bros., Tomb Raider, Doom, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Wing Commander, Alone in the Dark (or for that matter, any film by Uwe Boll), House of the dead and arguably the worst...

Enter Russell Crowe State of Play is a film that has been in a state of flux for quite some time. Based on the famed BBC Mini Series starring James ‘Atonement’ McAvoy, both Brad Pitt and Edward Norton were originally attached to the project, but for what we’ll call ‘artistic’ differences Mr Pitt departed which was not well received by Mr. Norton so he left also. Enter Maximus himself and with Ben Affleck entering the foray also, the film finally got made!
