Arriving on the red carpet in a outfit made of metal and with a horse in toe, it was clear this premiere was not going to be your normal run of the mill night. Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen has debuted in top spot at the U.S box office thanks to the second biggest opening in history - a unbelievable $201.2 million. The machines have risen - Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen has completely smashed the opposition at the Australian box office with the film taking an astonishing $16.1 million inless than a week. Well, if you’re a fan of High School Musical’s Vanessa Hudgens, then I guess you should go and see Bandslam. This is a film definitely for your mainstream tweens and younger even though it’s a film about a bunch of misfit highschool musicians. The Proposal and The Hangover are in exactly the same positions at the Aussie and U.S box offices. The Sandra Bullock led comedy debuted at home with an estimated $3.4 million. The Proposal has continued the trend of comedies ruling the top spot at the U.S box office. Following the huge success of The Hangover, the latest offering from Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds has debuted in top spot with an estimated $34.1 million.
